A VEGAN cafe and book shop with a difference will be opening its doors to customers in a Herefordshire town next month.
Pot & Page, a family run cafe and bookstore in the heart of Ledbury, is opening on July 14, promising to be the first plant based (entirely vegan) eatery in the local area, and serving Herefordshire’s largest selection of loose leaf teas.
The New Street cafe will also be serving up literary inspired lattes made with a base of taishan matcha and Minor Figures Oat Mylk, homemade pastries, welsh cakes, light lunches, weekend brunches and more in their book-lined cafe area, while a children's area will be filled with second-hand children's books.
In the cafe's stone-walled cellar is a reading den with hammock chairs and tables loaded with books.
There will be an opening ceremony on July 17 and celebratory deals on food and drink to welcome the first 50 customers through the door that day.
Co-owner Nic Sims said: “We have been working on building the space that we would most enjoy spending our time in, and now we’re excited to share it with others.”
