The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Awards have chosen Rotherwood Healthcare as a finalist in the Employer of the Year category.

Rotherwood Healthcare run four homes in the area including Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Nursing Homes in Hereford, Dorset House Nursing Home in Droitwich Spa and Lynhales Hall in Kington.

The group are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised for their hard work in providing staff members with great opportunities for training and growth. They credit their success to always working to their values and employing staff that share them too. They are always looking for caring, passionate, committed, compassionate, kind, respectful and polite people to join the teams within the homes.

Manager at Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Nursing Homes, Daniel Bridges, told us “We recognise that we are in the business of people looking after people and therefore ensuring our staff are happy and well looked after is the key to our success. When we say we care, it is not just for our residents; while they are extremely important, it is for everyone in the business.”

Dan is known for his pick-me-ups buying staff donuts and other treats on occasion to make them feel special!
