POLICE in Hereford have seized a car and reported the driver for having no insurance, but officers say they don't enjoy taking vehicles away.
Hereford rural north safer neighbourhood team said it worked with local community speed watch groups, with one raising concerns about the manner of driving of a car in the Marden area.
The West Mercia Police officers tracked down the car, a blue Ford Fiesta, but they had no concerns over the standard of driving.
But they said checks showed the car was not insured so was seized and the driver reported.
"We don't enjoy taking vehicles of people but we know the vast majority of the public insure their cars, have driving licences and pay tax etc and we wouldn't want an uninsured driver getting into an accident with your loved ones," the officers said.
