A DRIVER has been banned from the roads for more than three years after failing to provide a breath sample to police.
Liam James pleaded guilty to two offences when he appeared before a district judge in Kidderminster.
The court heard James had wilfully obstructed a police officer acting in the course of their duties in Ross-on-Wye on May 29.
The 29-year-old also admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis when suspected of driving a vehicle on the same date.
James, of Glastonbury Terrace, Llanrumney, was handed a 12-month community order with 150 hours unpaid work and disqualified from driving for 42 months. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
