A MAIN road near Hereford will be closed for up to 24 hours after an electricity cable fell onto the carriageway.
Herefordshire's Council contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places said the A438 Brecon Road was closed between Bridge Sollars and Credenhill, west of Hereford.
It said a high voltage cable was on the road, and it was expected to be closed for up to 24 hours as the site was "made safe".
