A MAN has been handed a community order after returning to an area he was banned from and attacking another person
Benjamin Protheroe entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 24-year-old had failed to comply with a direction banning him from Commercial Road in Hereford on June 17 by returning to the area.
He also assaulted a person by beating on the same date.
Protheroe, who is of no fixed address, received an 18-month community order and a £50 fine. He must also pay compensation of £100, costs of £100, and a £95 victim surcharge.
