A DRUG-DRIVER was caught behind the wheel while twice the limit, a court has heard.
Luke Matthews entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 33-year-old had been caught driving a Volkswagen Golf in Strensham, Worcestershire, while over the drug limit on January 6.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 5.2 microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
Matthews, of Marlowe Drive, Hereford, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £200. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
