A DRIVER has been banned from the roads after taking amphetamines.
Andrew Packwood entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 36-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf while over the drug limit on the A465 at Pontrilas on January 3.
An evidential test revealed he had 454 microgrammes of amphetamines per litre of blood. The legal limit is 250.
Packwood, currently of HMP Hewell, was disqualified from driving for 14 months and fined £50. He must also pay a £34 victim surcharge.
