They were in the boat alongside Great Britain team-mates Scott Hannah and Lucy Glover.
The top two boats in the heat qualified for the final, which is yet to be scheduled due to 'adverse weather conditions' on Monday.
The Great Britain boat finished third in their heat heat behind just 2.58 seconds behind winners Germany and 1.44 seconds behind second placed Netherlands.
The women will now row in the Repechage taking place on Sunday (July 25) with the session starting from 12.30am (UK time).
