A ROAD through a Herefordshire village is set to be closed for up to 10 days for drainage works.
Herefordshire Council said Hope-under-Dinmore village road, near Leominster, would be closed from August 10 while the roadworks take place.
A decision notice said the road would be closed at the three-way junction of Cherry Brook Lane, Winsley Road and Old Dinmore Hill.
It said there would be no alternative route for those drivers affected.
Herefordshire Council said the closure, expected to be for 10 days, was required due to under road drainage installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.
An online roadworks map from the council said Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd were responsible for the works, with the train line between Leominster and Hereford near the road before Dinmore tunnel.
