Herefordshire's best and worst GPs according to Herefordshire residents have been revealed in an annual NHS survey.
The results for the GP patient NHS annual survey 2021 have been released.
It shows how Herefordshire residents rated their surgeries between January and March in a variety of elements. From booking appointments to the quality of care rated.

Overall, 87 percent of Hereford residents were happy with the experience they received from their GP surgery.
But patients voted Cradley Surgery as the best surgery with 98 percent of patients saying their experience was good, followed by Golden Valley Practice and the Mortimer Medical Practice with 95 per cent. Nunwell Surgery came in third with 94 per cent.
All higher than the national average of 83 per cent.
Whereas Belmont Medical centre ranked as the worst with a 72 per cent overall approval rating.

- Kington Medical Practice (South) – 88%
- Wargrave House Surgery (Central) – 85%
- Much Birch surgery (South) – 83%
- Colwall Surgery (Malvern) – 83%
- Westfield surgery (Leominster) – 82%
- Ledbury Health partnership (Ledbury) – 81%
- Hereford Medical Group (Central) – 73%
- Belmont Medical centre (South) – 72%
Patients all over the country have reported they have struggled to get through to surgeries on the phone since GPs reopened after restrictions were eased.
100 per cent of patients at Weobley and Staunton on Wye said they found it easy to reach the practice via phone, far higher than the national average of 68 per cent.
Hereford Medical Group includes Moorfield House surgery (South Wye medical centre & Aylestone Hill surgery), Greyfriars surgery, Sarum House Surgery, Quay House Medical Centre (and Credenhill Branch Surgery), King Street Surgery (and Bobblestock Surgery) came out bottom and scored 33 per cent.
The Hereford average for this is 75 per cent.

The Marches Surgery, The Mortimer Medical Practice and Cradley Surgery all came out on top for the number of patients that felt their needs were met during their last general practice appointment, with 99 percent satisfied.
Kington Medical Practice and Alton Surgery came in a close second with 98 per cent.
On the other hand, Belmont Medical Centre came last with Belmont Medical Centre with 89 per cent. This is lower than the national average of 94 per cent.

Patients at Weobley and Staunton on Wye Surgeries were satisfied with the general practice appointment times available, 83 per cent of them to be exact. Whereas only 47 per cent of Belmont Medical Centre’s patients were satisfied.

Across Herefordshire and Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group 91 per cent of patients said their GP gave them enough time during their appointment.
And 97 per cent said they had confidence and trust in their health care professional they saw or spoke to.
