A HEREFORD man charged with attempted murder has appeared in court for the first time.
Andrew John Charles Thompson, 52, was arrested by police after an incident at Dartmouth Court in Whittern Way, Hereford, at around 2am on Tuesday (July 27).
It was alleged Thompson, of Dartmouth Court, stabbed the victim in the neck and stomach.
Appearing at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, Thompson spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
Wearing a grey T-shirt, he did not enter a plea during the 10-minute hearing and was remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on August 26.
Thompson faces one charge of attempted murder.
