ABOUT 1,000 people will be partying into the night in Herefordshire woodland this weekend as a house music festival gets under way.
Into The Woods festival, organised by three friends, takes places across Friday and Saturday in Bartestree, near Hereford.
After meeting five years ago, Ross Powell, 29, Tom Howell, 26, and Mart Winds, 27, set up the festival under their events company Discotek.
They wanted to fill a gap in the Herefordshire music scene by bringing house music to the county, initally starting with an event at The Venue, in Hereford.
Having grown over recent years, the festival will welcome 1,000 revellers this weekend.
The trio said they felt music connected people, and with coronavirus restrictions relaxed in England, the event could bring festivalgoers together after a challenging 16 months.
Mr Powell and Mr Howell, who both now live in Cardiff, come back to Herefordshire to host the festival every year and had been amazed at how the event had grown.
