A VAN driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving in Herefordshire.
Robert Harker entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 35-year-old had driven his Peugeot Expert van on the A44 at Steens Bridge while over the drink-drive limit on June 26.
A breath test revealed he had 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Harker, of Marlborough Gardens, Malvern, was disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £120. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
