A COASTGUARD helicopter has airlifted an injured walker to hospital after a fall on the Herefordshire-Monmouthshire border.
Longtown Mountain Rescue Team said it was called at 5pm on Sunday (August 1) to Llanthony, between Hereford and Abergavenny.
A spokesperson said the team was called to help a woman who had fallen while walking.

After an initial assessment, the decision was made to request assistance from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency helicopter due to her injuries and her location.
The coastguard helicopter, from St Athan near Cardiff, then airlifted the woman to hospital for further treatment, the spokesperson said.

The callout came two days after a similar incident in Llanthony.
The team said on Friday afternoon Gwent Police asked it to assist a mountain biker.
They had taken an "unfortunate slip on a rock", resulting in an ankle injury. The patient was left in the care of the Welsh Ambulance Service.
