Rotherwood Healthcare, sponsors of the GP Practice of the Year award, are committed to providing the highest standards of care in the luxurious surroundings provided in their six homes, three of which, Gwen Walford, Hampton Grange and Lynhales Hall are in Herefordshire.
They are equally committed to ensuring that residents feel completely at home, surrounded by their own favourite possessions and able to enjoy doing what they want, when they want, secure in the knowledge of being cared for by people with their best interests at heart.
Staff are also keen to support the local community, with members of the team at Gwen Walford and Hampton Grange recently stepping up to the plate to take on voluntary driving shifts to collect Food Bank donations from local supermarkets and deliver to the central hub. Inspired by their initial involvement, the homes have subsequently also partnered with a local Morrison’s to become a Food Bank drop-off point.
“It’s important to the homes,” says manager Dan Bridges, “to be an integral part of the local community. It’s a real team effort when staff an residents come together in such a purposeful way and do something so positive for their neighbours.”
