A HEREFORD company that provides equipment to help disabled people live independent lives is once again sponsoring a category in this year's Health and Social Care Awards.
TPG DisableAids is sponsoring the Care Trainer category, a vital part of the care service which ensures that front line staff have all the right skills and knowledge to help their clients.
TPG is a family firm, whose motto is, appropriately, "Let our family help your family."
Founders Tony and Pam Gibbs set up the back in 1985 and have now been joined by son Alastair Gibbs, managing director, and daughter Amanda Harrold.
After more than 35 years in business the firm have more than 5,000 customers and 40 members of staff.
The company specialize in the sale, supply, repair, and maintenance of all types of mobility and disability aids from stairlifts to daily living aids.
Their services include stairlifts; bath, shower and toilet equipment; beds and chairs; kitchen and dining equipment; personal care; home walking aids; ramps; mobility scooters – to name just a few.
Finding the right assistance for your particular needs can be a challenge, so TPG focus on ensuring their staff are trained to provide the highest quality advice.
“We always believe that, in the first instance, we should assist rather than sell. We always offer comprehensive advice on situations where we can,” said Alastair.
“The company motto captures our core belief that we can use our culture to enable people to live more fulfilling lives.”
