HEREFORDSHIRE is seeing more people move to the county, a new report shows.
The Office of National Statistics (ONS) has released new figures that reveal the number of people migrating across the country in the year ending June 2020.
The ONS figures show that 6,744 people moved to Herefordshire in that time, with 5,921 Herefordians relocating to other parts of the country.
This shows that the population of the county is steadily growing and is likely to continue to rise with homebuyers looking to move to more rural areas than urban ones.

These are the areas people moved to Herefordshire from:
- Malvern Hills – 375
- Powys – 371
- Forest of Dean – 350
- Birmingham – 217
- Worcester – 200
- Monmouthshire – 186
- Cardiff – 152
- Bristol – 135
- Wychavon – 114
