A FIRE ripped through a flat in Hereford in the early hours of the morning.
A fire service spokesperson said crews from Hereford and Fownhope were called to a severe flat fire in Putson just before 2.30am this morning (August 31).

Crews used breathing apparatus to conduct a search of the flats and all residents were accounted for.
Two casualties were assessed by paramedics at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a fire at a property on River View at 2.30am, one paramedic officer attended the scene.
"We treated one male patient for the effects of smoke inhalation who was then transported to Hereford Hospital for further treatment."
