A MAIN road in Herefordshire will remain closed for another unplanned night due to safety concerns.
The A417 near Leominster was expected to be closed for resurfacing works from 9am to 5pm between August 31 and September 3.
But safety concerns forced the overnight closure of the road last night (August 31).

And now Herefordshire Council and Balfour Beatty Living Places have confirmed the road will have to remain closed for another night.
Announcing the continued closure, they said the road would remain closed tonight due to safety concerns and a major brreakdown at the contractor's tarmacadam production plant.
A diversion is in place via Burley Gate, Bromyard, and Leominster.
