A HEREFORDSHIRE woman has opened a new café in Bromyard as her online business has expanded.
Emma Simcock, 39, started her online business Emma's farmhouse bakes last August, selling brownies and cakes via Facebook.
Many companies around Herefordshire, and even as far as Scotland, approached her as she built up her clientele.
"I started baking from home and word got around. I've developed a good customer base," she said.
Mrs Simcock will open Emma's Farmhouse Café to replace 'café on the corner' in Market Square, Bromyard.
"We're still busy, re-painting, re-branding, but I can't wait to be open," said Mrs Simcock.
Previous owner Helen Pettitt will work at the café as she wanted to continue engaging with local customers.

Mrs Pettitt wrote on 'Café on the corner' Facebook page:
"To all our wonderful customers, we made the decision that it is time for us to concentrate on Andy's health & spend some quality time as a family.
"We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you for the support we have had over the last six & a half years.
"I will be staying on for a while to assist the new owner in her new venture so will still be seeing you."
A further three members of staff will join their team, all of which are friends, and local people.
Opening day is this Saturday, September 4.
Coffee, cake, and a complimentary glass of prosecco will be offered.
"It will be a meet and greet," she said.
The café will offer afternoon tea, cakes, breakfast, and light lunches from September 7.
Mrs Simcock will still be receiving online orders for her brownies and cakes.
"The post office is right next door," said Mrs Simcock.
The cafe's opening will coincide with the Bromyard Folk Festival held next weekend.
"We'll be open the whole weekend – including Sunday and Monday.
"It'll be busy, we'll easily make a couple of hundred bacon rolls," she said.
Her opening times will include Monday closed, Tuesday 9am-2pm, Wednesday-Thursday 9am-4pm, Friday-Saturday 9am-2pm and Sunday closed.
