A CARER racially abused pub staff and a family passing by in the street.
Ashley Thomas Bennett admitted using racially aggravated threatening and abusive words and behaviour when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
Bennett had been seen making inappropriate, racial comments towards door staff and passers-by while in a drunken state outside The Imperial in Hereford on May 29, prosecutor Shafquat Reaz said.
The door supervisor at the city pub told police the 25-year-old had been stumbling around being loud and aggressive and shouting abuse.
Witnesses reported that Bennett had then turned his attention to an Asian family walking past with their children, shouting further abuse at them.
Benett was arrested as he continued to behave in an aggressive manner after police arrived at the scene, calling officers 'pigs'.

Michael Horne, for Bennett, said his behaviour had been disgusting and that there was no excuse for it.
"He is very sorry and has pleaded guilty and co-operated throughout," Mr Horne said.
"To all intents and purposes he is a nice guy, and what happened that night I do not know and nor does he.
"He says he was spat on earlier that night by someone who was not from the UK, but says it was no excuse for what happened. He is quite rightly ashamed of himself."
Care worker Bennett's employer told the court his behaviour had been out-of-character and that she was very surprised by it when he told her what had happened.
"He is desperately sorry and this is going to affect his career going forward, as he will now have to get approval from the Care Quality Commission to continue in his work."
Bennett, of Hunderton Avenue, Hereford, was fined £500. He must also pay costs of £185 and a £50 victim surcharge.
