FIREFIGHTERS have been called to tackle a blaze in the open in Hereford.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said no one was injured, but two crews were sent to the Hoarwithy Road blaze, off Holme Lacy Road.
It said an area 40 metres by 90 metres of undergrowth, vegetation and grass was on fire.
The crews, from Hereford and Ewyas Harold, used two hosereel jets and beaters to tackle the blaze.
West Mercia Police was also at the scene after the fire was reported at 4.16pm on Monday (September 6).
