A VILLAGE tucked away in Herefordshire's Golden Valley should be made safer now device to tackle speeding is installed.
A speed indicator device, which displays the display vehicles are travelling, has been installed in Ewyas Harold after work by the local council.
Ewyas Harold Parish Council said the new speed indicator device for Pontrilas Road and it hoped it would make the road "a safer place for all residents."
A post on the village Facebook page, where the parish council shares messages, said "by all accounts" the speed device was "making a positive difference already".
At a meeting on April 27, councillors were told the device had been ordered and should have been installed by the end of June, but this date was pushed back.
Its base was completed by that time, and the device itself was installed in August.
