THREE A40 speeders have been handed points and fines by magistrates in Hereford after they were caught on camera breaking the limit in Herefordshire.
Gavin Morgan, 37, was caught by manned equipment driving a BMW at speeds of over 70 miles-an-hour at Ganarew on February 21.
Morgan, of Carroll Avenue, Hereford, was fined £220 and received three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
Richard George Ruck, 53, was caught by a manned camera breaking the 50-miles-an-hour limit on the A40 at Pencraig in a Mitsubishi on February 25.
Ruck, of Hughes Crescent, Chepstow, was fined £220 and handed three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
Glyn Thomas, 29, was also caught speeding behind the wheel of a Ford in the 50-miles-an-hour stretch of the A40 at Pencraig on February 25.
Thomas, of Taff Street, Blaenllechau, was fined £166 and handed three penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £34 victim surcharge.
