A THIEF has been up before the magistrates after stealing a tin full of cash.
Brian Woodward, of Etnam Street, Leominster entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Greater Manchester.
The court heard the 41-year-old had stolen a tin containing £150 from a woman's home in Salford between January 21 and 24.
Woodward was handed a 12-month conditional discharge and an indefinite restraining order banning him from contacting his victim or visiting a street in Eccles.
He was ordered to pay compensation of £150, costs of £85, and a £22 victim surcharge.
