HOME Bargains in Hereford has announced when the store will close for its new extension to be completed.
Plans to refurbish and expand the Home Bargains store in Hereford were given the go-ahead in March.
The discount store off Holmer Road has amalgamated with the unit that was occupied by Bensons for Beds.
The scheme includes a new shop front and entrance extensions and the car park will be rearranged with parent and child spaces, trolley corral and bollards.
Home Bargains will expand its floorspace from 1,397 square metres to 2,051.
The firm has now announced that the shop will shut for refurbishment on Christmas Eve and re-open early 2022.
