EMERGENCY traffic lights have been put in place on a busy road in Hereford, Herefordshire Council has said.
Contractor Balfour Beatty Living Places said the lights, in Kings Acre Road, were needed as a tree was at "serious risk of falling".
The lights, between Cotswold Drive and Huntington Lane on the A438, should be taken away tomorrow, it said.
"Works to rectify will take place today, these works are not expected to last longer than one day," the firm said.
The A438 between Hereford and Brecon is one of the main routes in and out of the city.
