DRIVERS have been handed hefty fines by Hereford magistrates after they were caught on Herefordshire's roads without insurance.
Sam Rowland, 31, was caught driving an Audi A3 in Hereford's Barton Road without insurance on February 24.
Rowland, of Westholme Road, Belmont, was fined £660 and handed six points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Harriet Lucy Walker, 29, was caught behind the wheel of a Citroen Berlingo in Ledbury's Hereford Road without insurance on February 24.
Walker, of Putley Common, Putley, Ledbury, was fined £660 and received six penalty points. She must pay costs of £90 and a £66 victim surcharge.
Kai Michael Williams, 20, was caught driving a Ford Fiesta in Manor Fields, Burghill, without a licence or insurance on February 19.
Williams, of Manor Fields, Burghill, was fined a total of £880 and handed six penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and an £88 victim surcharge.
