A LORRY driver from Herefordshire was caught on the roads while almost three times the drink-drive limit.
Joseph Phillip Ceaser entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Swindon.
The court heard the 39-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a DAF truck on the A346 in Swindon on August 22 while over the alcohol limit.
An evidential test revealed he had 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
Ceaser, of Merestone Road, Hereford, was handed an interim driving ban to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
He will appear for sentencing in September.
