A GARDEN bench and two large barrels of weed killer have been stolen from a village near Hereford.
West Mercia Police said the items were stolen from the grounds of a property close to the A438 Hereford to Ledbury Road in Tarrington.
Officers were unable to provide a specific time for the theft, only saying it happened at some time between September 23 and 29.
"The offender or offenders have also tried to force entry to an outbuilding but fortunately they were unsuccessful at the time," PSCO Christina Howard said.
"A green garden bench and two large barrels of industrial weed killer were stolen from the address.
"Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact us online, quoting incident number 0026-I-30092021."
She said it was the second report of a theft in the area over recent weeks and reminded people to be vigilant and report anything which seemed unusual.
