DIESEL and trailer parts have been stolen from a farm near Ledbury which was target by thieves overnight.

West Mercia Police said £300 worth of red diesel was stolen from the farm, near the A438 at Pixley, between 9pm yesterday (Monday) and 5am this morning.

The offender, or offenders, went into a field at the farm and stole parts of a trailer.

That included the wheels, the sides and the ramp, PCSO Christina Howard said.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police by calling 101, or via the West Mercia Police website, quoting incident number 00202-I-05102021.

Red diesel is subsidised fuel which is dyed red and used for off-road vehicles and machinery, including in the agricultural, construction and rail sectors.
