A WOMAN aged in her 80s has died in single-car crash near the Herefordshire border, police have said.
A man in his 90s was also left in critical condition after the crash, on the A4136 near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, around three miles from the Herefordshire border at Bishopswood.
Gloucestershire Police said the crash, involving a blue Skoda Fabia, happened at around 4pm on Tuesday, near the junction with Hangerberry New Road.

Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, with the man taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he was said to be in a critical condition on Tuesday evening.
The coroner and next of kin have been informed.

Investigating officers have appealed for anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact police.
Information can be submitted online using incident number 269 of October 5, or by calling police on 101.
