A NEW flood warning gauge is being set up in a Golden Valley village, amid concerns from locals over the state of the brook.
The Environment Agency's manager for Herefordshire Dave Throup said the gauge on the Dulas Brook in Ewyas Harold was in place and was being calibrated and set up for the agency's use.
But Ewyas Harold Parish Council raised its concerns in August over the state of the brook.
Coun Liz Overstall said the ford in Mill Lane, north of the village, needed to be dredged to prevent flooding.
Ward councillor Peter Jinman said he had asked Herefordshire Council and the Environment Agency who was responsible.
