A HEREFORD woman has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after she was caught drink-driving on a busy city road.
Laura Redmond entered a guilty plea when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 35-year-old had been caught driving a Peugeot 206 on Hereford's Aylestone Hill while over the drink-drive limit on September 10.
An evidential test revealed she had 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, almost three times the legal limit of 35.
Redmond, of Whitecross Road, Hereford, was handed a 24-month driving ban and a 12-month community order with 100 hours unpaid work.
She must also pay costs of £135 and a £95 victim surcharge.
