A DRUG-DRIVER has been banned from the roads after he was caught driving while almost five times the limit.
Carl Hardacre entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster.
The court heard the 32-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Seat on the A49 near Woofferton on February 6 while over the drug limit.
An evidential blood test revealed Hardacre had 48 microgrammes of cocaine and 755 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine per litre of blood. The respective legal limits are 10 and 50.
Hardacre, of Rushbury Road, Church Stretton, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £390. He must also pay costs of £184 and a £39 victim surcharge.
