POLICE are investigating a burglars stealing tools from a shed in a village near Hereford.
West Mercia Police said the theft of tools, including some sockets and a pair of circular pliers, happened in the New Barnsfield area of Stretton Sugwas.
In an appeal for information, PCSO Christina Howard was unable to provide a time of when the theft happened.
She only said it happened between October 3 and 10.
Police said they were keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard, or saw, anything suspicious.
They also warned homeowners to check sheds.
"Please take the time to check your outbuildings are secure and if you would like any advice on security then please get in touch with me," she said.
Anyone with information should contact police via their website, or by calling 101, and quoting incident reference 00262-I-10102021.
"Thank you for your help," she added.
"It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime."
