A BUSY road linking two of the main routes into Hereford will be shut for nearly two weeks as roadworks are carried out.
Herefordshire Council said the C1130, which links the A4103 Hereford to Worcester road at Withington to the A438 Ledbury to Hereford road at Bartestree would close in November.
A public notice said the road, from Withington to Whitestone Business Park, would be shut to vehicles due to drainage and resurfacing works.
It said due to the potential of danger to the public, the road would be shut for 12 days from November 8.
The diversion for the work would be via the A4103 towards Hereford, up the A465 Aylestone Hill, before rejoining the A438 Ledbury Road, and vice versa.
