THREE escape-artist ponies have been reunited with their owners after mysteriously turning up in a field on a Herefordshire estate last night.
Three shetland ponies were found on the Garnons Estate, in Byford, Herefordshire, last night, by estate owner Harry Cotterell.
Mr Cotterell shared a picture of the ponies on Twitter, writing: “Three Shetland Ponies have been abandoned on the farm overnight.”

West Mercia Police force replied to this tweet, advising him to contact the RSPCA for advice regarding the welfare of the ponies.
The owners have since been found, said a spokesperson from the 2,500-acre historic estate beside the Wye, which features woodlands, orchards, and arable farmland and has been in the Cotterell family since the 18th century.
The ponies had escaped from Bishopstone to enjoy the estate’s long grass, said the spokesperson.
