A NEW shop has opened in Hereford offering gifts by local makers in the build up to Christmas.
Hereford’s theatre, The Courtyard, in Edgar Street, opened its new retail shop yesterday (November 3).
It is selling an array of handmade original gifts from local makers including books, prints, ceramics, jewellery, and more.
Mayor of Hereford, councillor Paul Stevens, attended the opening with the various local artists whose work is on sale, such as ceramic monster maker and mixed media artist Lucy Baxendale.
The shop is located in the box office space on the ground floor.
Alongside the shop The Courtyard shows different theatre productions and films throughout the year as well as hosting a café and bar offering food and drink.
The shop will open Monday to Saturday between 10am and 8pm.
