A TEENAGER has been banned from the roads after he was caught driving with a class A drug in his system.
Adam Morgan pleaded guilty to two charges when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 19-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf on the B4348 in Herefordshire while over the drug-drive limit on April 4.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 145 microgrammes of cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine and 18 microgrammes of cocaine per litre of blood. The legal limits are 50 and 10.
Morgan, of Wonastow, Monmouth, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £219. He must also pay costs of £70 and a £34 victim surcharge.
