TV presenter Nick Knowles has described a unique Herefordshire castle as extraordinary and beautiful as he filmed a new series.
Nick Knowles, best-known for presenting the BBC's DIY SOS, has filmed a new series with Quest as he visits breath-taking heritage buildings across the UK.
Each episode features an extraordinary rescue project where he will follow complex restoration work, reveal the results and dive into the history of a selection of beautiful stately homes and castles in need of repair.
In one of the episodes of Nick Knowles Heritage Rescue, he will meet James Hervey-Bathurst CBE, the owner of Eastnor Castle near Ledbury.

In a sneak peek of the new show, which will start on November 17, Nick Knowles was filmed driving up to the impressive castle in the shadow of the Malvern Hills.
Talking to the camera, he said it was fair to say the English and the Welsh have "not always seen eye-to-eye", meaning it was not surprising the border was dotted with castles.
But Eastnor is unique in the fact that it was only built around 200 years ago – more than 400 years after Owain Glyndŵr rose up against the English, and 300 years after peace was restored.

Describing it as "not any old castle", Knowles' jaw dropped when he set eyes on the building, saying: "My word, this really is something."
He said: "This Grade 1-Listed building is designed to look hundreds of years older than what it actually is.
"Today, as well as being open to the public, the castle is a go-to location for big television dramas, and you can even get married here."
He said that it was extraordinary, and a beautiful, fairytale castle.
