A THIEF has been handed a suspended sentence after she was caught with drugs and stole from a supermarket.
Amanda Inana pleaded guilty to three charges when she appeared before magistrates in Worcester.
The court heard the 52-year-old had been caught carrying a quantity of class A drugs diamorphine and crack cocaine in Leominster on January 30 last year.
She had stolen a one-litre bottle of gin and a one-litre bottle of vodka from the Co-operative in Kington on April 25.
Magistrates said Inana's offending was serious due to her previous record.
Inana, of Lammas Close, Leominster, was handed a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £40 to Co-operative Stores. She must also pay costs of £185.
