REPAIRS to a busy Hereford road have not yet been organised, almost a year after the embankment washed away.
A lane has been closed on the B4399 between Hereford and Holme Lacy since Storm Bella caused a small landslip at Dinedor Mill in December 2020.
It meant the bank next to the bridge over the Tar's Brook washed away, with a lane closure until repairs could be carried out.
But Herefordshire Council said there had been a delay in scheduling the repairs, due to the damage being near the brook, but it could now be organised.
A spokesperson said it meant ecological assessments and a Habitats Regulations Screening Assessment (HRSA) were needed to see if work would affect the protected features of the site before going ahead with work.
The assessments were recently completed and work on the busy road into Hereford could now be scheduled, they said.
