A TEENAGER has been handed a hefty fine after driving without due care and attention in a busy Hereford street.

Jordan William Stevenson was proven guilty by magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 19-year-old had ridden a Sym Jet scooter without due care and attention in Hereford's Widemarsh Street on April 20.

Stevenson, of Franks Avenue, Hereford, was handed a £440 fine and five penalty points. He must also pay costs of £90 and a £44 victim surcharge.
