FREE parking will be on offer across Herefordshire in the run-up to Christmas.
Herefordshire Council has been working with town councils, Hereford City Council and Hereford Business Improvement District to offer free parking in council car parks for events in Herefordshire towns.
This includes all council public car parks and on-street pay and display bays.
Kington will have free parking during winter food and drink festival on Saturday, December 4.
The event has also hired the car parks for a second day of free parking on Friday, December 3.
Ledbury’s town council will offer free parking during their Christmas lights switch on Saturday, December 4.
People will be able to park for free in Leominster, during their Victorian fair, and Ross-on-Wye, in support of shopping, on Saturday, December 11.
During late night shopping in Hereford after 4pm on Wednesdays, December 8, 15 and 22, there will be free parking including the Old Market.
The free parking offered does not apply to any private car parks unless stated and as usual, there is free parking in the market towns every Sunday after 6pm.
