A TRADER has been ordered to pay tens of thousands of pounds after selling an unroadworthy car in Herefordshire.
Shivam Hitendra Chudasama and Pricemark Motors UK Ltd were found guilty of supplying a Volkswagen Polo in an unroadworthy condition to another person in Ross-on-Wye's Ledbury Road Beefeater car park on August 19 2020.
Pricemark Motors Ltd also pleaded guilty to failing to display its registered name at a location other than its registered office at which it carried out business, namely the Ledbury Road Beefeater car park in Ross.
Chudasama, of Sherwood Close, Hall Green, Birmingham, was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay costs of £11,364.75 and compensation of £8,721.45.
No separate penalties were imposed on Pricemark Motors UK Ltd, also of Sherwood Close, Birmingham.
