POLICE have seized a number of mobile phones as they raided a house in Hereford this morning.
Scales were also found and taken by officers as they carried out the drugs raid in Kilpeck Avenue, Newton Farm.
Police entered the house at around 8.30am – let in by the occupants, rather than forcing entry – and carried out a full search.
A police dog was also brought in to help officers, but no illegal drugs were found.
The six mobile phones seized were being taken to Hereford police station where they would be looked at by specialist police staff, Police Sergeant Mark Jones said.
He also said the suspect, who was not arrested this morning, was expected to be invited to an interview at a later date, once any information from the phones was found.
After the door was answered, police said they had a search warrant – granted by the courts – to enter the mid-terrace house and seize any drugs or paraphernalia.
PS Jones also said police had other information about the suspect drug dealing.
