A STALKER has been banned from contacting his victim by magistrates.

Adam Brady entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.

The court heard the 24-year-old had pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a woman in Ross-on-Wye between May 1 and July 1, visiting her flat and workplace, and calling and texting her from various phones.

Brady, of Ledbury Road, Ross-on-Wye, was fined £760 and was made subject to a two-year restraining order.

He must also pay costs of £135 and a £76 victim surcharge.
