A VAN driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught drug-driving on a Herefordshire road.
Brian Hughes entered a guilty plea when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford.
The court heard the 48-year-old had been caught driving a Ford Transit van while over the drug limit in Wilton Lane, Ross-on-Wye, on May 5.
An evidential blood test revealed he had 2.6 microgrammes of cannabis metabolite delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limit is two.
Hughes, of Lea, Ross, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £120. He must also pay costs of £135 and a £34 victim surcharge.
